Head Trainer - Reverend Ronnie Roberts
Head Trainer of Grindhouse Pro Wrestling Academy is none other than Ranoni Thompson whose better known to everyone as "Ronnie Roberts".
Ronnie has wrestled in multiple states as either Ravishing Ronnie Roberts or currently as Reverend Ronnie Roberts aka The Triple R Superstar; where he has held numerous championships.
Ronnie brings 10 years of Wrestling Experience to GPWA and was trained by “Legendary” Larry D and Johnny Badd.
Ronnie has served as the Head Trainer of The Legends Pro Wrestling Academy located in Paris, Kentucky since it's inception.
Grindhouse Pro Wrestling Academy started in 2015 by world traveled wrestler 2 Tuff Tony. 2 Tuff wanted to provide the opportunity for anyone that wanted to pursue their dreams of being a professional wrestler to do so without charging a big out of pocket fee and provide a show for the students to hone their craft. Grindhouse has had a few trainers throughout the years including Rudy Switchblade and Raul Lamotta. Current trainers are "Reverend" Ronnie Roberts, (of the Netflix docuseries "Wrestlers"), and former OVW champion "The Chosen One" Mitch Huff. Grindhouse Pro Wrestling and the Academy has grown in prominence and recognition boasting sold out events and spectacular in ring performances and an appearance on the Netflix series "Wrestlers". Alumni of the Academy include, AEW's Billie Starks, Women of Wrestling and Netflix "Wrestlers" star "Hollyhood" Haley J, OVW star ZDP, The Bruisers, Charlie Pierce, Sexy J, "Big Time" Ethan Heyre, Referee Dallas Edwards, and more!
